FITNESS AND HEALTH
Fitness Room - Join PTSCC as a member and enjoy use of the fitness room, which includes treadmill, exercise bicycles, step amchine, life cycle, and free weights.
When: Monday-Friday, 8:30a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
Golf League- Get some exercise in the great outdoors while having fun! The Golf League plays from April through late August. Contact the Center for registration and fee information.

Line Dancing- Join us for a line dancing class! Please call to reseve a spot at 847-991-1112.
When: Monday, 10:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Cost: $3 Members/ $4 Non-members per class
Sit & Be Fit- Get your blood circulating and stretch your muscles!
When: Mondays and Thursdays, 10-10:45 a.m.
Cost: $3 Members / $4 Non-Members per class
Tai Chi- The instructor will integrate any new student who is interested in attending. Join us for this unique movement class.
When: Tuesday and Thursdays, 3 - 4 p.m.
Cost: $30 members/ $40 non-members for 6 weeks
Take Off Pounds Sensibly (or T.O.P.S.)- T.O.P.S. is a weight-loss support group. If you need encouragement while dropping a few pounds, this group is for you. Stop in and find out what this organization is about. (Minimal fee applies after first meeting.)

Cost: Minimal annual fee

ARTS
Ceramics- Create beautiful ceramic pieces to decorate your home or give as gifts. Class fee includes some materials.
When: Fridays, 9 – 11am
Cost: $4 per class

When: Third Friday each month
Crafts- Brighten up your home’s spirit! Projects include latchhook, crochet, and more! The attendees use donated materials or items from home. Experienced group members will provide instructions to new members.
When: Wednesdays, 12:30 – 2pm
One-Stroke Painting - Painting is an art form that is very relaxing. You can find stress gone as you take pride in your beautiful work. Experienced art instructor, Lorraine Bauer, is teaching "One-Stroke" painting at the Center. No particular art talent is needed, just a desire to be creative. The technique is easy and fun. Please call to register at 847-991-1112.
When: Mondays, 9:00 - 11:00am and Thursdays 10:00 - Noon
Cost: Your first class is free. $5.00 fee for each subsequent class.
Quilting Group - We are in need of quilters!! Join this congenial group for some fast-paced needle action! Work on group or individual projects. Beginners and advanced quilters and stitchers are welcome. Come and give it a try!

GAMES
Billiards- Come to the Center to play with friends and meet new players. The billiards room is available during the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Don’t forget to sign the log-in form before leaving!

Bingo- Spend the afternoon trying your luck! Volunteer callers and collectors are always needed.

Bridge Club- Experienced players will enjoy this opportunity to expand and add to their knowledge of their bridge game. The group is eager to accept new members. Partners are not necessary.

Hearts Card Group - Learn a fun new card game by joining the Hearts Group.

Poker - Come spend the afternoon with this small group of players for action-packed rounds of royal flushes and full houses!

Social Bridge- If you don't consider yourself an experienced player, but still enjoy the game, this group is for you. Not sanctioned, no points, just lots of fun! Partners and singles welcome.

TRIPS
Holocaust Museum & More
November 4th, 9am-4pm
The Holocaust Museum highlights a very sensitive part of our history. The museum is dedicated to preserving the memories of those who perished in the Holocaust. We will also have lunch at Ruby Tuesdays and round the day off on a positive note, enjoying a culinary delight at Bloomingdales at Old Orchard Mall. The cost is $60 to the general public and $55 for members. Tickets are limited will fill quickly, moderate walking.
Galos Salt Caves & Jolly Inn
Nov. 18, 11am - 4pm
The salt-iodine caves help lower your stress levels, with 45 minutes of relaxation.
Salt Caves are popular in Eastern Europe & renowned for their therapeutic effects. Please consult with your doctor before registering for this trip because of the iodone used in the therapeutic treatment.
We will have lunch at the Jolly Inn & have time to shop at Wally’s European Market.
Space is limited, moderate walking. Registration deadline is November 2, 2009.
